I have always loved celebrations and weddings, and have been a part of so many over the last 20 years. Roles have been bridesmaid, MC, speechmaker, witness and now celebrant. It would be a privilege for me to be your celebrant.

After our initial meeting (if you’d like one), I’ll be with you in the weeks or months leading up to your big day. We’ll chat about your story and your vision for the ceremony. If you’re not sure where to begin, I’ll provide ideas and inspiration to get us started.

We’ll shape the structure and style that feels right for you—whether that includes personal touches, cultural traditions, or something a bit fun and different. I’ll keep in touch regularly to make sure everything’s coming together just the way you want. I’ll also walk you through any paperwork and explain how it all works.
Lately, I’ve been specialising in weaving meaningful Hindu rituals into traditional Western ceremonies—it’s a beautiful way to honour Indian heritage while creating something personal and modern. Your ceremony will be crafted just for you. Fee: $500 If travel outside of Wellington is required, travel costs may be incurred.

If you choose me as your celebrant, I’ll confirm all the details of your ceremony with you by email. On the day, I’ll arrive and lead a simple, no-fuss ceremony to make things official—so you’ll be legally married.
This is a great option if you’re after something low-key and straightforward, just to take care of the legal side of things.
I’ll also walk you through the paperwork and make sure you know exactly how the process works.
Fee: $200

Licences
- Getting Married
- If you're getting married you will need to apply for a marriage licence at least three working days before the ceremony. The licence costs $150 and expires after three months. Information about getting a marriage licence is here.

- If you're having a civil union you will need to apply for a civil union licence at least three working days before the ceremony. The licence costs $150 and expires after three months.
